Since Laura’s first film success in 2006 with The Mirror It Makes she has made a number of shorts expanding her skills in directing, producing, scriptwriting, cinematography and editing.

During her degree in New Media Arts at The Australian National University, Laura completed courses in video, digital compositing and directing. Laura received First Class Honours for her short documentary Chatting With Bill and accompanying thesis Documenting the Rural Way: Filmmaking Style, Practices and Ethics in Representing Rural Australia.

Laura’s first feature A Farmer Abroad is currently in the post-production phase and should be ready for release in early 2013.
